FAQs
What's the dress code?
We recommend resort casual attire for the entire conference. Ballrooms tend to be chilly, so don’t forget a blazer or a sweater!
How many hours of Continued Education will be offered?
The 2027 CEM is pending accreditation. For information regarding continuing medical education (CME) available at the Caribbean Eye Meeting, click here.
What’s included in the registration fee?
Access to all educational sessions, plus meals and social functions throughout the weekend. Be sure to review the agenda for additional details.
Can I bring a guest to the meeting?
Yes! There are two guest registration options available: one includes access to all meals and receptions while the other is for admission to the welcome reception on Friday night and beach view dinner on Saturday night only. Please be sure to register your guest(s) in advance of the meeting so the meeting organizers can plan accordingly.
Note that guest registrations are limited to a spouse, relative or other guest accompanying a validly registered attendee, and do not include admission to any educational sessions.
Can I have access to the meeting photos and presentations?
Photos taken by the official meeting photographer will be posted on the CEM website approximately 3-4 weeks after the conclusion of the meeting. Meeting attendees are welcome to download photos from the website. If posting the photos on their social media, we ask that they tag the Caribbean Eye Meeting in their posts (#CaribbeanEye).
All presentations that take place in the General Session room are recorded for internal use by the meeting.
Sponsors of the promotional lunch sessions are eligible to receive a video of their sponsored talk upon request.
Due to the large number of faculty who participate in the meeting, videos of individual talks and/or their PowerPoint slides will not be shared beyond the meeting organizers, including the presenting faculty. The only exception are the presentations selected for the Top 10. With written permission from the presenters, these videos will be posted on the meeting website after the meeting.
